By Air
The nearest international airport is Hannover (HAJ) airport. There are hourly train connections to Goslar according to this timetable: S-Bahn S5 (suburban train) departing from the airport's basement, change in ′Hannover Hbf.′ (Hannover Central) to a regional train to ′Halle (Saale)′ (train numbers RE143xx) or to ′Bad Harzburg′ (train numbers RE36xx). Some major airlines only serve Frankfurt Rhein-Main (FRA) international airport.By Train

We will make an effort to arrange pick-up services for participants arriving at Hannover (HAJ) airport and the nearest major train station coming from Frankfurt Rhein-Main (FRA) airport, at Göttingen, subject to demand and feasibility. If you are interested to be picked up in Hannover or Göttingen, please indicate on the registration form. We would welcome your detailed information on arrival times in Hannover / Göttingen by July 30th. We ask for some understanding that you will possibly have to wait there for about 1 hour and that we cannot ensure that a pick-up service can be arranged for every arrival time. If we cannot pick you up, we will inform you in time with some alternative recommendations.
